Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-9:30PM a group of devotees
gather at the IYI for reading and discussion of the Yoga
scriptures. This informal session is open to any serious
student of Yoga who would like to participate.
A two-hour meditation takes place every Saturday evening
beginning at 6:00PM. Everyone is welcome to participate
and experience the sacredness of deep silence. There is
no charge, no appointment is necessary,
and you are not required to stay for the entire two hours.
On Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30PM the IYI hosts a videotaped
lecture of Sri Swami Satchidananda, followed by a brief
talk by one of the devotees. The period ends with some wonderful
kirtan (chanting) led by golden voices.
For those who seek to live by spiritual values, guidance
and counseling is offered by the senior members of the Integral
Yoga Institute. For those facing severe emotional or family
problems, counseling is available by professionals trained
in Transactional Analysis. These services are only available
by appointment. Please contact the Secretary or IYI staff
